Thanksgiving in a mug
1/4 – 1/3 cup canned chicken
or turkey – drained ( or use left overs)
1/3 cup stuffing mix
1/3 cup mixed vegetables
1 TBs dried cranberries
1 tsp diced onion
1 tsp diced peppers
2 Tbs water or chicken broth
1/4 tsp of poultry seasoning
or thyme or sage.
Top with 1-2 tbs chicken or turkey gravy
Tips:
- One 5 ounce can of chicken makes two servings.
- Having Frozen onions and peppers on hand means no chopping! And you don’t have to worry about using them up before they spoil.
- Mixed veggies in this recipe can be corn, green beans, squash – whatever you have on hand. I like to use good ole peas and square carrots.
- Gravy can be found ready-made in a jar or made from powder.
Directions:
Mix together in 12 – 16 oz
mug or 2 cup pyrex glass measure cup everything but the Gravy.
Microwave on high for 60
( cover with small plate or
saucer for 1 minute to let stuffing absorb moisture)
Stir, then Top with gravy
microwave for 30 seconds.
