Weekly meal plans



To make a monthly meal plan start by taking inventory of what food you already have in the freezer or pantry and try to use those in your meal plans.

Try to plan ahead to make two meals out of one - to make use of leftovers and save time .

For example on Sunday I might  roast chicken and serve with a vegetable and rice (1) - then I can use the chicken and vegetables for a pot pie later in the week (2)  and use the rice in veggie burgers (3). We have Pizza just about every week (4)  and we have one night that is "serve yourself" or "snack dinner" (5) usually throw in a pasta night (6) and only have 1 meal left to figure out which can be soup and salad, or soup and sandwiches (7)

  2. Spaghetti & meatballs, salad
  3. Chicken fajitas using left over chicken, Rice, Bean & corn salad
  4. Left overs- make your own
  5. Pizza
  6. salad, meatball sandwiches
  7. Snack dinner: potstickers, edamame, veggie sticks

  1. Chicken paprika, garlic mashed potato 
  2. dinner Salad with pickled beets, faro,  homemade bread
  3. Hamburgers, coleslaw
  4. Chili using left over chicken from Monday ,  cornbread
  5. Pizza
  6. Broccoli Soup and Salad
  7. Grilled salmon, smashed peas,  garlic mashed potato pancakes


  1. Home made Tortellini, stir-fried greens w nuts
  2. clean the fridge fix it yourself, left overs  
  3. Grilled chicken, baked potato,  veggies
  4. BLTs & corn chowder using baked potato
  5. Pizza
  6. Frittata , salad
  7. quesadilla with left over chicken veggies, salad


  1. smoked brisket/ sweet potato noodles
  2. Buttermilk Roast chicken, veggies
  3. Chicken & Rice Soup, salad, bread
  4. Left overs/serve yourself
  5. Pizza
  6. Brisket hash

  1. Cauliflower “mac and cheese”, peas, tomato and cukes
  2. Chicken marabella , bread, salad
  3. Pad Thai, cucumber salad
  4. Left overs

  7. Snack Dinner : black bean hummus, veggies, flatbread

  1. Pulled chicken sandwich, coleslaw
  2.  lentil mushroom soup,  bread
  3. Chicken and dumplings

  6. Fritatta, ( clean out the fridge)  salad bread
  7. pasta primivera, salad

  1. sheet pan dinner,: teriyaki chicken  w/ roasted veggies 
  2. Dinner salad with focaccia
